CESTAS is a small pleasant city, situated in the southwest of France in Gironde, between Bordeaux (20 km) and Arcachon (40 km), populated of 16797 inhabitants for a surface of 10000 Ha of which more of 70% are afforested.

CESTAS is a sporty township with more than 5000 members in 35 disciplines, of which 25 are regrouped within the S.A.G.C. (Sport Athletic Gazinet-Cestas).

Most of these activities take place in the Complex Sporty of Bouzet (1 swimming pool, 8 hall of sport and many sports ground). Two teams are at the highest national and international level: the S.A.G.Cestas Rink-Hockey (Hockey on roller skates) and the S.A.G.Cestas Table Tennis.
